Judge Tana Lin Law Clerk and Extern Positions

Clerkship

Judge Lin does not expect to have any law clerk openings until at least Fall 2025. When she begins her selection process, she will post a notice here on this court webpage and on OSCAR. Applications received outside of a posted selection period will generally not be considered. Applicants who have submitted unsolicited application materials are encouraged to reapply during the posted selection period for any future clerkship postings. To be considered for a clerkship with Judge Lin, applicants must have at least one year of prior federal clerkship experience or two years' litigation experience after graduating from law school (or some equivalent combination of experience) when applying.

 

Externship

Judge Lin is excited to announce an open part-time externship opportunity in her chambers for the Fall 2024 term. For this opportunity, Judge Lin is seeking a 3L law student from the University of Washington School of Law with strong legal research and writing skills, a demonstrated commitment to public service, and a passion for expanding access to justice in our legal system.
